Each apartment is thoroughly cleaned and repaired before a new resident moves in.
No, being present is not required, but you can decide whether or not you want to be present when maintenance is working in your home.

Amenities
$25 per parking unless designated as guest parking.
Gateway features a seasonal swimming pool with a BBQ area and game zone, as well as a fitness center located next to the leasing office. Another great perk of living in our community is the proximity to campus, which is less than a 10-minute walk away!
The pool is available seasonally from 8 AM - 8 PM.

Yes, as a resident of Gateway, you are required to obtain renters insurance. Your renter’s insurance coverage must include but is not limited to $100,000 in liability coverage, $25,000 in personal coverage, and $1,000 in medical coverage.
Comcast is the building wide servicer for internet and cable.
You can choose to terminate your lease agreement through a termination clause. Please contact the leasing office for further discussion.
Residents are required to set up a PG&E account for electricity and Comcast for internet/cable services. There is a monthly flat rate fee of $45 (per bed) to cover water, sewer and trash expenses.
Water, sewer, and trash will be billed $45 flat rate per month (per person) and is available for payment through your resident portal in addition to your monthly rent. Electric and gas will be billed separately through PG&E.

There is a bus stop right outside of Gateway's entrance (B-Line #3).
Emma Wilson Elementary, Chico Junior High, Chico High and Gateway is within 13 minutes or 0.7 mile from Chico State. It is also near Butte College, Chico Campus and Butte College, Oroville.
